Our Services
Homeless
Hawaii, often seen as a tropical paradise, faces a significant homeless crisis that contrasts sharply with its idyllic image. The state’s high cost of living, limited affordable housing, and economic disparities have led to a growing number of individuals and families without stable shelter. On any given night, thousands of people are sleeping in parks, on beaches, and in makeshift tents along the streets. The Cruzin By Faith Ministry will work tirelessly to provide support, resources, and long-term solutions for those in need.
“…there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.” (Deuteronomy 15:11)
Drug Addiction
Hawaii is grappling with a severe drug addiction epidemic that permeates its communities, from urban centers like Downtown Honolulu to the rural areas of Waianae and Makaha. The impact of drug addiction extends beyond the individuals struggling with substance abuse, affecting public health, safety, and the overall well-being of the community. Addressing this complex issue requires a multifaceted approach involving increased access to treatment and rehabilitation services, community outreach, education, and robust law enforcement efforts. Cruzin By Faith are dedicated to combating this crisis and supporting those on the path to recovery.
“…do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit…giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:18-20)
Domestic Violence
Domestic abuse is a pressing issue in Hawaii, affecting individuals and families across the islands. Behind the serene landscapes and vibrant culture lies a troubling reality of emotional, physical, and psychological abuse that many endure in silence. The isolation and the difficulty of seeking help, leave victims feeling trapped and alone. However, despite these challenges, Cruzin By Faith are working tirelessly to provide support, resources, and safe havens for those affected by domestic abuse. Efforts to raise awareness and offer counseling are crucial in the ongoing fight to protect and empower survivors and to foster a safer, more compassionate community in Hawaii.
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Cor. 13:4-7)
Food Distribution
Feeding the homeless in Hawaii is an act of compassion that addresses a critical need in the community. With a significant number of individuals struggling to find stable housing, many also face the daily challenge of securing enough food. Cruzin By Faith is taking that step to provide nutritious meals, offering not just sustenance but also hope and dignity. These efforts range from organized meal programs to delivering food directly to those living on the streets and in encampments. These charitable endeavors play a vital role in alleviating hunger, fostering a sense of community, and shining a light on the broader issue of homelessness in Hawaii.
“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry, and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” (Isaiah 58:10)
